Skilled Trades Careers

Learn carpentry, construction management, electrical systems, HVAC, mechatronics, plumbing, or turfgrass management. GTCC provides hands-on training to prepare you for jobs in these in-demand industries.

Learn to Speak English

GTCC’s English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) program helps adults learn English. Classes cover listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Come as a family or by yourself. Work on a GED®!

Truck Driver Training

Learn the skills to pass the CDL test and get real driving practice. In our 320-hour course, you’ll learn inspections, safe driving, cargo handling, trip planning, and safety rules.

Paralegal Technology

Paralegals help lawyers by doing research, organizing papers, and preparing documents. Our paralegal technology program will teach you the skills to work in law offices, government jobs, businesses, and more.

STEM Programs

Explore science, technology, engineering, and math fields like civil engineering technology and geomatics, electronics engineering technology, and mechanical engineering technology. Learn how to design, test, and improve solutions that drive innovation and technology.

Nursing Assistant Program

Launch your healthcare career in just three months. Our program prepares you to excel as a Nurse Assistant and qualify for the N.C. State Nursing Aide exam, paving the way for NC Nurse Aide I Registry registration.
